ReportSafe® and Lawson Software®

Fast Installation / Training

The ReportSafe architecture is designed to seamlessly accept reports from Lawson and all your systems. ReportSafe can be installed in minutes, and running within a day. There is no scripting or programming required, and ReportSafe will not impact Lawson upgrades.  Ascend's Lawson expertise and Pre-defined Report rules greatly reduce implementation time.  A fast installation reduces the demands on both your I.T. and end-user departments, saving time and money.  ReportSafe’s user-friendly administration can be managed by either  the I.T. or end-user department.

Installation

The ReportSafe architecture is designed to seamlessly accept reports from Lawson and other systems. ReportSafe® can be installed in minutes, and is running within a day. There is no scripting or programming required, and ReportSafe® will not impact upgrades to your other systems. A fast installation reduces the demands on both your I.T. and end-user departments. ReportSafe® ’s administration can be managed by either the I.T. or end-user department.

User Training

Reports are viewed by the end-user through a web browser. The ReportSafe® report list screens are intuitive and can be learned in minutes. The use of familiar Lawson commands to transfer reports from ReportSafe® to ReportSafe® does not require additional training.
Use any of the following methods to transfer reports:
Send-to-Printer command from your Print Manager screen
Reports button on the report Form ID
Job Definition and Job scheduler screens (jobdef/recdef) to automatically send your scheduled jobs to ReportSafe®

Administrator Training

The Administrator has two ways to learn the system:
Retain consulting services for several days to assist in the implementation and to provide training
Refer to the system documentation and use Telephone Support when needed

Complete Administrator proficiency with the system can take several weeks, depending upon the complexity and number of reports and the archival and distribution schemes desired.
