Kaleida Health Selected Ascend Software to Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiencies in its AP Department

Ascend Software, a leading provider of imaging and business process automation software, today announced that Kaleida Health has selected Ascend Software’s solutions to deliver significant cost savings and efficiencies to its Accounts Payable department. Kaleida Health selected Ascend’s ECM, SmartTouch AIR and SmartTouch AP solutions to lower operational costs, improve document visibility and control, and promote greater efficiency through workflow automation. More specifically, Kaleida Health seeks to utilize Ascend’s solutions suite to manage and route documents for approval, and eliminate paper processes through intelligent imaging, OCR and electronic storage.

After evaluating several vendors, Kaleida Health selected Ascend’s SmartTouch solutions for its advanced OCR with proprietary learning algorithms for enhanced data recognition, easy electronic document storage and retrieval, and unmatched automation capabilities. Kaleida Health will rely on Ascend’s solutions to reduce operating costs and streamline document workflows in its AP Department.
